Your own domainname(s)

You can register any domainname with me, for example in the .nl, .com, .org, and .net top-levels. Lot's more are possible. Check my  Domain Check to find free domainnames. I can also move domainnames that you registered elsewhere, or you can attach domainnames yourself (your website will get it's own, unique IPaddress). You can attach multiple domainnames to your website, aliases are free, subfolders and redirects are €2,00 per month.

Excellent performance

My servers are connected with multiple fault-tolerant uplinks to the Amsterdam Internet Exchange (only 1 hop) for the best possible speed to all European providers, and for worldwide traffic have direct connections to the worldwide carriers Telia, FLAG Telecom, Level 3, Interoute, and Carrier1.

Unlimited diskspace (fair use)

Your subscription includes all the diskspace you need, for html pages, images, sounds, logfiles, email, and whatever else you need to store. Fair use means that there is no limit at which your website is full, and you will not be charged extra if you pass a limit or something.

Unlimited traffic (fair use)

When somebody visits your website and is looking at your pages, he is transferring data. This is called 'traffic'. Pages on the internet are quite small, on average only 50Kbytes traffic, and there is caching to reduce the traffic. Neverthelesss, if your websites draws a lot of visitors then your traffic can quickly grow to huge numbers. This is where most providers make their money, by giving you a little bit of traffic for free and charging you an excessive fee for the extra traffic. Not with me! You will never be billed for extra traffic.

Unlimited mailboxes and aliases

You can create all the POP mailboxes and/or aliases you need with an easy to use webinterface. Read your email with any email program (for example Outlook) or use the free webmail interface (for example from the office of a customer, or an internet café on holiday).

Full cgi-bin: PHP, ASP, Perl, C, and more

You can run any cgi-script you want. More scripting languages are available on request.

Free MySQL database

Create as many tables as you like in the MySQL database. You can also use other databases via ODBC, for example an Access database.

Your own IP-address

Some providers use a system where many servers use one and the same IP-address. This is a problem for visitors that have an old browser. The only right way is to use a unique IP-address for every webserver. Which is what you'll get from me.

Secure webservers

All webservers support SSL (Secure Socket Layer), for example for secure credit-card transactions. I can generate a free SSL certificate for you, I can install a certificate you may already have, and I can arrange for official certificates from worldwide SSL authorities.

Statistics

Free usage statistics are available, and you can download the full and complete logfiles of your website to analyze them with statistics programs such as Summary, Wusage, FastStats, Funnel Web, WebTrends, or any other log-analysis program. These programs will generate graphs vastly superior to simple visitor counters such as Nedstat.

Contract period 1 month

If you are unhappy for any reason then you can resign your webserver with 1 month notification. I will give you all the assistance you need to move your webserver to another provider.

Remarks

• Fair use means that I can terminate your subscription with 1 month notice if I feel you're making unfair use of the subscription. I've never had to do this yet, but cannot rule out the possibility. If you are worried about this, then consider that if this happens, all you need to do is simply move your website to another provider.
• I have a number of turnkey scripts available that you can download from my website. Installing them is easy, if you have a problem I'll gladly help.
• The uptime of my servers is very high, months go by without any downtime whatsoever. Usually the only reboots necessary are for installing Microsoft security patches.
• My own websites (I have several) run on the same servers. You will profit directly from all my efforts to keep the servers up and running and as fast as possible.
• Please do not use the servers for experimentating. Build and debug your website elsewhere, on your workstation at home, for example. If your cgi-bin programs cause a system crash I may decide to lock your website until you have solved the bug.
• I make daily backups of all the servers, but my advice is to keep a complete copy of your website elsewhere anyway, just to be sure.
• You will receive a monthly bill, which must be payed in Euro's directly into my bank account. No other payment methods, for example credit cards or cheques, sorry.
